Sarracenia alata var. alata A1 MK has tall and narrow green pitchers, that have a bit of acoppery hue on the top of the lid.

Most varieties of S. alata look best in September, however in early spring they produce large and delicate pale yellow to cream colored flowers on tall stems in the early Spring.

Sarracenia alata is native to in open bogs and seeps along the Gulf of Mexico coast from Texas to Alabama.

We stock medium size plants. One strong growing point that has flowered or will flower in the coming season, usually with 1+ small side growing point.
