Pinguicula jaumavensis native to the Jaumave area in Tamaulipas state, Mexico. It is closely related to P. esseriana, however it is twice bigger than it. This still means that the adult rosette is still just about 2 cm in diameter.

In winter the plant produces succulent leaves, in summer carnivorous leaves.

A very neat plant indeed! I hope I will be able to share with you some better photos of this particular species soon, it is a real gem.
